WAIT....what's going on? Isn't this supposed to be Foaming in the Pines V?

Technically, that is true.
However, this year Mr. Graybeard has decided to host a very special
Foaming Gala
in honor of his * * 70th birthday **
Last year was such a great success, with live music and storytelling at the core of two days of fun, that I have decided to have a one evening Gathering with more music, more stories, and throw in some train slides (via PowerPoint) and some videos. If they are still in good shape, I’ll even show a little of my X4449 video of the tender being refilled at Black Butte from the original water tower boom.

I have moved the event away from the Railroad Days weekend to coincide with my 70th birthday at the end of May.
We will still have Hobo Chili, but the menu will be broadened considerably to actually include some healthy food for those discriminating guests.

The music was so much fun last year that I hope to put together a small jam session at the minimum. And, if we get lucky, we can once again enjoy the sounds of a musical saw!

The primary location will still be Sims Campground site #3 but we will probably spread out to include sites #2 and #4.
